Farewell to the outgoing students of AUST (Spring- 2010) |

A day long program was held at Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology to bid farewell to the outgoing students of AUST (Spring- 2010) on 15 July 2010 at it’s Permanent Campus. The students participated in the program actively. They had separate programs in their respective departments in the morning.
In the afternoon, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. M Anwar Hossain accorded farewell to all the outgoing students on behalf of AUST. The outgoing students, teachers, officers and employees of AUST attended the program. A bunch of balloon was released at the starting of this session by the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor. Opening remarks were made by Director of Students Welfare, Prof. Dr. Md. Anwarul Mustafa. Few outgoing students also spoke on the occasion.
The VC said to the outgoing students in his speech that in a couple of months time you all are going to be identified as professionals like us and it is expected that you would behave as matured persons and contribute accordingly. He also said you should remain in touch with your Alma Mater. He wished them all success and peace in their life.
In this session Prof. Dr. Kazi Shariful Alam, Treasurer, AUST, Prof. Bijon B. Sarma, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Planning, Prof. Dr. A.M. Shadullah, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Sirajuddaula Shaheen, Dean of the Faculty of Business and Social Sciences were also present. A farewell cake was cut by Vice-Chancellor along with the students and the Vice Chancellor also handed over crests to the graduating students.
